Owl Facts Owl Forum Rescue Keeping Breeding Buying Hunting Owls

I have a Bengal Eagle owl that hates dogs with a passion. If the sport of hunting included hunting dogs, my Owl would be king.
I don't know what brought the hatred for dogs on, except that the two jack russells we have used to growl at the owl, but then the owl started attacking the dogs, even before the owl was barely in feather.
I have been in a house with three Bengal Eagle Owls, 2 cats and a very large ( Rottweiler ) dog, all getting along like an adopted family.

Does your owl hate dogs, do you know why?

crumble gets on fine with the dogs & the cats. Only 1 cat will however tolerate her (or him) but I took these a few weeks ago...

Yeah, similar to my owl, which is a shame as I wanted to use a dog as a flusher. That picture is great
