i'm new to this forum so i thought i would say hello and introduce myself. my real name is christine i am 47 and fly a 2 year old female barn owl called wisp. i got started with owls and raptors through my husband who at the moment flys 2 male harris hawks. he took me out hunting with him and from that day onwards i was hooked. :) even though i love to watch the birds hunt i still get more enjoyment flying my own little barnie.

Hi Christine,
welcome to the owl forum :) likewise, I too love the way owls fly, in fact I love working with owls. My barn owl chick has hatched and should be off the nest at the weekend when its remaining siblings have hatched.

Enjoy the owl forum, feel free to share your knowledge.

Cheers, Mark

Hi Christine,

Welcome to the forum :D

I have a tawny owl who is 7 weeks old now who I was hoping to fly. Progress so far is non existant :sucks: She's so lazy (takes after me I think)
