I get my chicks from a friend who supplies small quantaties of rats, chicks, hamsters, rabbits and the odd quail in Norfolk. You can PM me for details if you live in Norfolk, he sells day old chicks ( DOCS) in quantaties upto 12000 or as few as 50 day old chicks. It is not mail order, you have to pick them up yourself or depending on amount required you can have them delivered, but only in Norfolk.

I just get mine from the local pet store cause I never have enough freezer space for much. They sell DOC's, mice, rats, hamsters, g-pigs, quail & I can order rabbit too.

Not much help to anyone unless you're very local but they are

I Bet you're paying through the nose from a pet shop, can you not find enough space for just one box of 200 chicks? Just to give you an idea a box of 200 costs £7 from my supplier. That works out at 3.5p each chick.

I bought an old freezer for £10 just to keep my owl food in, saves loads of money.

I pay £5 for 50 at the moment. With a family of 7 I already have 2 freezers & don't have room for another at the moment but when we move I will get a large chest freezer just for the birds I intend to have.
