Please list which insurance company you use to insure your birds. This will help everyone find the best deal out there, after all we know what insurance companies are like.
I use Exotic Direct for my birds, don't know what they are like in the event of a claim, cos I've never had to, perhaps someone could let us know?

i have been using exotic direct for my sanctuary for the last 4 years,
the premium started out at over £2000, which came out of my own pocket,
after 4 years with the no claim bonuses it came down to £1300,
this year i got the same cover from a company called clivertons for £450, a massive saving,
as for payouts i cannot vouch for either comapny as ( touch wood )
i have not had to make a claim,

Clivertons? I thought I'd heard that name before, thats who I use for my public liability insurance, I will give them a call and see if they can beat Exotic Direct for my bird insurance. Thanks for that Bilsy

I use http://www.cliverton.co.uk pay £356 for £5,000,000 pest control liability, unlimited shows, public handling, and all the rest. Could not tell you how they are in the event of a claim though.
