A question I have often been asked is, owls do they drive house sparrows away?

Yes, in my experience owls drive not only house sparrows away but all garden birds, however not long term. I stick my owl on the lawn and you could hear a pin drop the whole time he is out there. Bring him in and the noise is deafening, the house sparrows, pigeons, blackbirds and starlings, well in fact all the garden birds come out to play again.

What is your experience of owls driving house sparrows away?

My EEO gets mobbed by Bluetits when he's out on the lawn, so he don't drive anything away, he attracts them
